Miranda is a versatile, creative designer and illustrator with more than three years experience. She graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 2012. She is passionate about creating playful illustrations which reflect her view of the world. Her love of colour and strong use of pattern is expressed throughout her work which ranges from simple line drawings to intricate mixed media pieces including painting and collage.
Miranda has created illustrations for high end clients, including creating imagery for Investec Epsom Derby, editorial illustrations; for Jamie Oliver magazine, reguar illustrations for Angels and Urchins Magazine, and gift and stationery designs for Caroline Gardner.
Miranda has also created a picture book series titled ‘Things that Blow my Mind’. These books feature facinating facts about the world and engage children through striking imagery. She loves designing quirky imagery for children using unusual compositions and a bold colour palette. Her collaged piece based on The Horniman Museum was chosen to be exhibited for The Accociation of Illustrators Serco Prize for Illustration show Places and Spaces.
Her approach to design is innovative and unique and her handwritting style can be adapted to a diverse array of briefs; as demonstrated in her portfolio.
