About Gemma Correll
Gemma graduated of the Norwich School of Art and Design with a 1st Class Hons degree in Illustration in 2006. She is known for her ‘quirky characters in strange situations’ and her lovely Pugs.
What Gemma Correll does…
Gemma is a cartoonist, writer and illustrator. Her work is strongly narrative with hand-drawn characters, type and patterns. Her work has been featured in magazines, books and advertising campaigns as well as on products ranging from Mugs to Umbrellas.
Gemma finds time to exhibit her work globally and has had solo and group shows in the USA, China and all over Europe. She is also good at winning prizes for her illustration too, and has a Young Guns Cube from the Art Directors Club of New York, a Henries – Best Humorous Greeting Card Range for Four Eyes from Urban Graphic and an award from the Society of Illustrators Comic & Cartoon Art.

Gemma’s fun, naive and humorous images lend themselves to projects that needs a lightness of touch and an injection of humour; anything from comic book illustrations, children’s publishing, editorial illustrations, design projects and packaging design. Most recent publications include “The Worrier’s Guide to Life” and “Doodling for Nature Lovers”.
